LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. – SCAC women's basketball programs kicked off the season with a full weekend of competition.
Preseason favorite Trinity University took down Mary Hardin-Baylor 59-52 to start the season 1-0. Texas Lutheran University, Centenary College and Austin College also won their weekend contests.
Schreiner University and Southwestern University dropped to 0-2 while the University of Dallas sits at 0-1. Colorado College opens the season against Johnson & Wales on November 16th.
