BRETT O'BRIEN AND PRESTON SPIVEY OF AUSTIN COLLEGE, have been named the SCAC Men’s Doubles Team of the Week for matches played from Monday, March 1 through Sunday, March 7.
O'Brien, a senior from Plano, Texas and Spivey, a senior from Weatherford, Texas, continued their outstanding start to the season with a pair of victories at number one doubles, cruising to an 8-1 win against Ozarks and earning an 8-5 victory against Mary Hardin-Baylor.
Other Outstanding Performances in the SCAC:
Hunter Bajoit and Vesko Lekovic of Southwestern defeated Texas Lutheran's Matthew Stephenson and Ryan Schulte (8-0) at No. 1 doubles in the Pirates' 9-0 victory over the Bulldogs. Race Haas and Tyler Head of University of St. Thomas earned an 8-0 victory at line one doubles this past weekend in the Celts' 9-0 SCAC win against Texas Lutheran.
