Texas Lutheran University is the defending champion on both the men's and women's side after sweeping both titles on their home floor a year ago.
On the men's side, TLU defeated University of Dallas, 99-95, in the first men's tournament final to go to double overtime. The victory also marked just the second time a SCAC men's team has won the conferene title on its home floor. The Trinity men won the 2014 championship as the host school.
