SEGUIN, Texas - Texas Lutheran Softball delivered collegiate wins 100 and 101 to fourth-year head coach Wade Wilson as the Bulldogs completed a four-game conference series sweep of Schreiner with 6-3 and 2-1 victories on Monday evening at Ed Kruse Stadium – Morck Softball Field.

Wilson moved his collegiate record to 101-42 (.706). Wilson arrived at TLU for the 2012 softball season after successful high school stints at Brenham and Sinton. Wilson won 383 games in high school and now has 484 overall wins in his coaching career. His 101 wins ranks him eighth all time in victories in the SCAC.

The Bulldogs are currently 16-4 in 2015 with a conference record of 8-0. They are receiving votes in the latest NFCA polls.

In their first year in the SCAC, Texas Lutheran won their first conference title in 2014, amassing a 33-9 record and a 21-1 conference record. They would advance to the NCAA Regionals in Tyler, Texas and upset the third-ranked UT-Tyler Patriots in the opening game. The Bulldogs would bow out of the regional after falling to eventual College World Series participant, East Texas Baptist.

In his first three seasons, Wilson has already seen his players earn all-conference recognition 26 different times, including the entire TLU starting lineup earning All-SCAC honors in 2014. Last season, Wilson coached the SCAC Player of the Year (Ashley Jacobsen) and SCAC Pitcher of the Year (Taylor Grissom).

He also helped Megan Carmichael earn the ASC West Division Pitcher of the Year and Jacobsen the West Division Newcomer of the Year after the 2012 campaign.

TLU continues conference play this Friday and Saturday with a four-game series in San Antonio against 2014 conference runner-up Trinity University.
