Major Changes for the SCAC Following 2011-12 Academic Year
June 07, 2011SUWANEE, Ga. – In an expected announcement made today at the annual spring meeting of the league’s Board of Directors, the Presidents of Birmingham-Southern College, Centre College, Hendrix College, Millsaps College, Oglethorpe University, Rhodes College and Sewanee-The University of the South declared their intent to withdraw from the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference effective June 30, 2012. -
Trinity's Wright Earns NCAA Postgraduate Scholarship

November 09, 2010SUWANEE, Ga. - Trinity defeated Centre Sunday afternoon 1-0 to claim their second straight SCAC title. Trinity (17-1-0) will take on 24th-ranked University of Puget Sound (Wash.) (17-1-2) in a first round NCAA Tournament match that will be played at Hardin-Simmons University in Abilene, Texas. If the sixth-ranked Tigers win, they will take on the winner of Hardin-Simmons (19-0-0) and Principia College (15-6-0).

October 26, 2010SUWANEE, Ga. - DePauw handed Centre its first conference loss of the year this past weekend 2-1 in OT snapping the Colonels 10 game winning streak. Trinity extended its winning streak to 12 with a non-conference 5-0 win over Chapman and is currently the lone undefeated conference team remaining with two weeks left in SCAC play.

The Tigers of Trinity (12-1, 6-0) pushed their winning streak to 11 with home wins over Birmingham-Southern and Millsaps.

While Bess Goodman of Sewanee became the first player since Alexandria Vassell of Oglethorpe in 2008 to score four goals in a single game in a 7-0 shutout win over Dallas on Sunday.

University of Dallas to Join the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference

September 20, 2010SUWANEE, Ga. - In the final weekend of action before the start of conference play, Oglethorpe and Austin College remained the final two undefeated teams in the league.
