SUWANEE, Ga. - Seeking its first Southern
Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) President's Trophy since
2004-05, Trinity University took the early lead in that quest
following the completion of the 2011 fall sports season.
Trinity picked up conference championships in the sports of
football and women's soccer and finished second in women's
cross country and volleyball.
The Texas Tigers currently own a 17.5 point lead (282.5
to 265 points) over second-place Centre College.
