SCAC announces Spring 2014 Student-Athlete Academic Honor RollJune 23, 2014LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. - The Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) announced its Student-Athlete Academic Honor Roll today for the 2014 spring term and 607 student-athletes made the list. Since its inception in 1997 just over 22,000 male and female student-athletes have been recognized for their contributions in the classroom.

Women's Basketball Recap (Week 11) - Around the SCACFebruary 10, 2014LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. -- Texas Lutheran (9-2 SCAC; 17-5 overall) swept another conference weekend and moved into a tie for first-place in the SCAC with Trinity. The Bulldogs, who have won eight straight games, have not lost since Jan. 11, a 92-82 road loss in Georgetown, Texas to Southwestern. In a season of firsts, TLU has secured the first overall winning season in women's basketball since the 1998-99 season, and the team's 17 wins are the most by a Bulldog women's basketball team in the university's NCAA DIII era, which began in 2002-03.

Women's Basketball Recap (Week 10) - Around the SCACFebruary 03, 2014LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. -- Sweeps were the order of the weekend, led by SCAC leader Trinity University (8-1 SCAC; 16-4 overall) as the current top four teams each went 2-0 in conference play. In Saturday's 113-47 victory over Colorado College, Trinity scored the most points every scored by a SCAC women's team in a regulation conference game and the second-most all-time. Texas Lutheran (7-2; 15-5 overall) remains a game back of the Tigers while Schreiner and Southwestern are both two game back at 6-3 in SCAC play.
