Centre and Carthage Set to Square off in NCAA Sweet Sixteen

SUWANEE, Ga. - After winning first and second round NCAA Tournament games at home, it was announced Sunday that the Centre women's basketball team will travel to Mount Union for Friday's game against Carthage in the round of 16.

Centre (26-3) will take on Carthage (22-7) at 5 p.m. on Friday in Alliance, Ohio. In the second game of the evening, Illinois Wesleyan (24-5) will face host school Mount Union (28-1). The two winners are scheduled to meet Saturday at 7 p.m. to play for a spot in the Final Four. 

Tickets for the Sweet 16 games will be available the day of the game at the Mount Union Athletic Facility. Price is $7 for adults and $4 for students. Gates will open 90 minutes before tip-off.
