MEMPHIS, Tenn. - Rhodes Lynx senior forward
Sharwil Bell joined the Rhodes 1,000 point club with her 25 point
effort against Meredith College, in the Lynx 70-68 win on December
30th, in Montgomery, AL.
It was Bell's jump shot with 1.3 seconds to play in the game that
broke a 68-68 tie and sealed the Rhodes win. She became the 13th
player in school history to score 1,000 points for her career and
currently ranks 12th all-time in school history with 1055 points
scored. Bell reached the 1000 point plateau in 61 games and has
averaged 16.6 points a game for the Lynx in career.
