LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. - The Texas Lutheran University softball team re-entered the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) rankings this week, coming in at No. 19.
The Bulldogs extended their winnings streak to 22 games, moving to 22-4 on the season and 10-0 in league play.
In those 10 conference contests, the Bulldogs have given up just seven runs while scoring 86. Texas Lutheran has scored 173 runs on the season and allowed just 47.
Junior Maitlin Raycroft has been a force on the mound, putting together six no-hitters, including on perfect game. This number breaks the previous NCAA Division III record for no-hitters in a single season.
The Bulldogs will face Centenary College this weekend on the road. The Ladies are currently second in the league standings at 7-1.
