LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. - League play continued for the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference.
Texas Lutheran University moved to 4-0 in conference action after winning a pair of games against Schreiner University. The Bulldogs pitcher Maitlin Raycroft recorded her third straight no-hitter in the second game of the series, pitching five innings in a run-rule shortened game. Raycroft struck out nine batters and allowed just one walk in the contest.
Southwestern University won four straight over Austin College, moving to 4-2 in league action.
The University of Dallas won three of four games against Trinity University to move to 3-1 in conference play.
The second half of the series between Schreiner and Texas Lutheran will be played Monday, after weather forced the two teams to postpone the matchup.
