HOW IT HAPPENED

• Texas Lutheran scored three runs in the fourth and two more in the fifth inning to take command of the game.
• Both teams had eight hits each with only three extra base hits in the contest.
• TLU's Maitlin Raycroft pitched 5.0 scoreless innings to improve her league-leading ERA to 1.01. She did allow eight hits - the second-most hits she has allowed in a start this season.
• Kaymee Gooden had her league-leading sixth triple of the season.

• Raycroft improved to 19-2 with the victory. Her 19 wins are tied for the eighth-most in a single-season in SCAC history. Her eight strikeouts gives her 202 for the seaosn and makes her just the second softball player in league history to post 200 or more strikeouts in a single season.
• With the victory, Texas Lutheran improves to 35-2 - the seventh-most wins by a SCAC program in a single-season.
