Weather Keeps SCAC Golf Championship Round Two Unfinished

(Story taken from the Oglethorpe University website)

STONE MOUNTAIN, Ga. - Heavy thunderstorms in the Atlanta area have forced the postponement of Round Two of the 2010 SCAC Golf Championships.

Round Two began this morning with a shotgun start and the men's and women's competitors were each able to complete between and 12 holes before rain forced the postponement of play. With a projected forecast of clear skies, Round Two is scheduled to resume at 8:15 a.m. on Sunday morning and is expected to be completed by 10:15 a.m. Groups will not be re-paired and play will be continous into Round Three.

Round Two results will be posted shortly after its completion on Sunday in the mid-morning and the final Championship results should be available around 5:30 p.m.

Both the Centre College men and women led after Round One.

For complete results as soon as they are available - both from Round Two and Sunday's ensuing final round - click to the official website of the 2010 SCAC Men's and Women's Golf Championships.
