LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. - The 2017-18 SCAC women's basketball season tipped off on Wednesay with the league posting a 6-12 mark in the opening week of action.
Two of the league's first year head coaches got their first wins under their belts this weekend. Lacey Burns of the University of Dallas took a win over Dallas Christian in their season opener on Wednesday, and Sam Davidson of Schreiner University took a 32-point win over Sul Ross State on Sunday.
The Trinity University Tigers split their weekend games, taking a win over Willamette on Friday and losing a close, four-point game to George Fox.
