LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. – Colorado College junior Nick Hall and Southwestern University senior Lilly Duarte have been named the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Male and Female Runners-of-the-Week, respectively, for Week Two of the 2013 SCAC Cross Country season.

NICK HALL OF COLORADO COLLEGE, a junior from Northbrook, Illinois has been selected the SCAC Men's Cross Country Runner-of-the-Week for meets run through Saturday, September 7.
Hall ran in the UC-Colorado Springs Rust Buster 6K this weekend among Division II schools and open athletes in Colorado Springs, Colorado (elevation 6,000 feet).
In a field of around 39 runners – including UCCS which is ranked 12th as a team in the nation – Hall placed third overall (in a time of 20:01) with the top two runners being open athletes. His third-place finish was first among collegiate runners.

LILLY DUARTE OF SOUTHWESTERN UNIVERSITY, a senior from Streetman, Texas, has been selected the SCAC Women's Cross Country Runner-of-the-Week for meets run through Saturday, September 7.
Duarte continues to keep pace with the late summer temperature as the senior's early-season hot streak continued Saturday at the Texas Lutheran Invitational.
Duarte paced Southwestern University to a third-place team finish as she claimed her best time at Southwestern in the 5K. She covered the course in 19:25.87 to win the non-Division I portion of the race. Duarte's time was the fifth-best overall – behind four Division I runners from UTSA and Incarnate Word.
