University of Dallas' Doherty and Falconer Earn SCAC Runner-of-the-Week Honors

LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga.University of Dallas runners Kevin Doherty and Meghan Falconer have been named the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Male and Female Runners-of-the-Week, respectively, for Week Three of the 2013 SCAC Cross Country season.

 
 
 


 
 
 

SCAC MEN'S CROSS COUNTRY
RUNNER OF THE WEEK

Meets through Saturday, September 14

KEVIN DOHERTY OF THE UNIVERSITY OF DALLAS, a freshman from Lenexa, Kansas, has been selected the SCAC Men's Cross Country Runner-of-the-Week for meets run through Saturday, September 14.

Doherty guided the Dallas men's team to a first-place finish for the second straight meet at the Gerald Ritchey Invitational hosted by the University of Texas at Arlington.

Doherty finished  second overall in the college division with a time of 22:15 over the 4-mile course. The meet was comprised of teams from Division I, II, III as well as NAIA institutions. 

 
 

SCAC WOMEN'S CROSS COUNTRY
RUNNER OF THE WEEK
Meets through Saturday, September 14

MEGHAN FALCONER OF THE UNIVERSITY OF DALLAS, a junior from Kohler, Wisc., has been selected the SCAC Women's Cross Country Runner-of-the-Week for meets run through Saturday, September 14.

Falconer helped the Dallas women's team to a third-place finish at the Gerald Ritchey Invitational hosted by the University of Texas at Arlington. 

Falconer finished the 3.25 mile course in a time of 20:04 to place ninth in the college division. The meet was comprised of teams from Division I, II, III and NAIA institutions.
