SCAC Has Two Student-Athletes Named To USTFCCCA Men's All-Academic Team

NEW ORLEANS, La. -- Two Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) men's cross county student-athletes were named to the 2013 U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) All-Academic teams, the organization announced.

Nick Hall of Colorado College and Taylor Piske of Trinity University were among the 228 student-athletes from 98 institutions to earn recognition from the USTFCCCA. Piske is a repeat honoree. The two finished 1-2 at the 2013 SCAC Cross Country Championships.

To qualify for the USTFCCCA All-Academic Track and Field Team, the student-athlete must have compiled a cumulative grade point average of 3.30 or greater through the most-recent semester and placed in the top 25 percent at their respective NCAA regional championship.
