LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. - Freshman attackman Stephen Petersilge and senior goaltender Zach Steedman of Colorado College have been named SCAC Men's Lacrosse Players of the Week for their outstanding performances this past week.
SCAC OFFENSIVE PLAYER-OF-THE-WEEK
Games of April 7th – 13th
STEPHEN PETERSILGE OF COLORADO COLLEGE, a freshman attackman from Novelty, Ohio, has been selected the SCAC Men's Lacrosse Offensive Player-of-the-Week for games played from Monday, April 7th through Sunday, April 13th.
Petersilge recorded season highs of six goals, three assists and nine points to propel Colorado College to a 26-0 victory over Centenary on Saturday.
The first-year attackman factored in on three of the Tigers' first four tallies, scoring twice and setting up another. Petersilge struck for three more goals during the second period and another in the third.
His nine points are the most by a Tiger since Jake Smith recorded five points and five assists during the 25-2 victory at Millsaps College on April 22, 2012.
SCAC DEFENSIVE PLAYER-OF-THE-WEEK

ZACH STEEDMAN OF COLORADO COLLEGE, a senior goaltender from Puyallip, Wash., has been selected the SCAC Men's Lacrosse Defensive Player-of-the-Week for games played from Monday, April 7th through Sunday, April 13th.
Steedman steered aside all four shots he faced during the first half to help Colorado College record a 26-0 victory over Centenary College on Saturday.
Steedman's first victory of the season marked the second time in his career he was part of a shutout victory. His first shared shutout occurred on April 8, 2011, when he made three saves during 36:42 in goal as the Tigers blanked Millsaps College, 28-0.
Steedman also struck for three goals and set up another in the second half to become the first CC goaltender to find the net since Chris Shopneck scored during a 14-7 loss to Denison University.
