MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. – Following a two big wins over the weekend, Texas Lutheran University men’s basketball jumped two spots in the latest D3hoops.com ranking, moving up to No. 21. Full release
The Bulldogs took sole possession of the conference top spot this weekend after defeating Colorado College, who was also undefeated at the time. TLU is now 7-0 in SCAC play, while holding onto a 15-3 overall record.
TLU is currently averaging 81.7 points per game, while allowing just 75.4 by their opponent. This gives the Bulldogs the best scoring margin in the SCAC (6.3).
The Bulldogs have also showed their strength on the boards, pulling down 764 total rebounds, averaging 42.44 per game. Their overall rebounding total ranks 17th in the nation and leads the conference.
TLU will hit the road to take on Colorado College and Centenary College once again this weekend.
