SEGUIN, Texas -- The top two seeds, Texas Lutheran and Trinity University, both advanced to play in tomorrow's semifinal winner's bracket game of the 2016 SCAC Baseball Championship Tournament. Official Championship Website
The two will play the day's first game on Saturday with first pitch scheduled at Noon p.m. CT. Southwestern and Centenary will play in the tournament's first elimination game at 3:30 p.m. CT. The winner of that game turns around and takes on the Texas Lutheran/Trinity loser at 7 p.m. CT Saturday evening. UPDATE: Today's first game between Texas Lutheran and Trinity has been pushed back to 3 p.m. CT. The Southwestern and Centenary game will follow at 6:30 p.m. Game 5 has been rescheduled for Noon on Sunday.

TRINITY UNIVERSITY 9, CENTENARY COLLEGE 8
In a game that featured 22 hits, 315 pitches thrown, five lead changes, five errors and a triple play for good measure, Trinity University held on for a 9-8 victory over Centenary College in the second game of the 2016 SCAC Baseball Tournament Friday evening at Texas Lutheran's Katt-Isbel Field.
