LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. - Seeking to repeat as
Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) President's Trophy
champions, Trinity University took the early lead in that quest
following the completion of the 2012 fall sports season.
The Tigers picked up titles in five of the six fall sports that the
conference sponsors, including men's cross country, women's cross
country, football, men's soccer and women's soccer. In the only
sport it didn't win - women's volleyball - Trinity earned a
second-place finish.
Trinity currently owns a commanding 52.5 point lead (145 to 92.5
points) over the two schools tied for second place - Colorado
College and Southwestern University.
