In the first match, the Texas Lutheran University men defeated Centenary College 7-0. The Bulldogs swept doubles to take a 3-0 lead, then followed it up with a four quick wins in singles to end the match.

In the second match, Trinity battled Colorado College, earning a 5-0 win. The Tigers came into singles play with 3-0 lead, and continued their dominance. Paxton Deuel took the top singles spot, 6-0, 6-0, before Matt Tyer clinched the match in the No. 4 spot with a 6-1, 6-1 victory. In the final match of the day, Southwestern and Schreiner battled for the second spot in the championship match Sunday. Southwestern took a 2-1 lead into singles with wins at Nos. 1 and 3 by the duos of Snovely/Gideon and Khansari/Farmen, respectively. Schreiner evened it up in singles action, with Josh Newman taking the No. 3 match. Southwestern closed it out with wins at Nos. 1, 2 and 6. To close out the night, Austin College and Texas Lutheran faced off for fifth place. It took nearly five hours, but the 'Roos were able to clinch the victory. Austin College took a 2-1 lead into singles, earning wins at the No. 1 and 2 spots. The 'Roos took three of the singles matches to close it out, with Cedric Ambulo winning at No. 1, Kenneth Hardy at No. 4 and Preston Glasscock taking the No. 5 match.
