SUWANEE, Ga. - On Friday, January 7 junior Maggie Prewitt recorded her 1,000 career point in the Colonels 82-45 win over Sewanee in Sewanee, Tennessee.
Prewitt reached the milestone right before halftime, hitting a
three-point basket to give Centre a 41-19 lead going into the
break. The junior guard is only the 13th women¹s player in
school history to score 1,000 points and currently ranks 11th on
Centre¹s All-Time Scoring list with 1,044 points.
In addition, Prewitt, the SCAC's fourth leading scorer this season,
is only the 68th women¹s player in SCAC history to reach the
1,000-point milestone.
