TUCKER OF MILLSAPS COLLEGE, a
senior guard on the women's basketball team, has been
selected the SCAC Character & Community Female
Student-Athlete-of-the-Week for the week ending December 6,
2009.
Tucker, who hails from Lakeland, Fla., is a
three-time Academic All-SCAC selection and is averaging 1.8 points
and 1.0 rebounds per game off the bench for the Majors this
season.
She is campus President of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes
(FCA) and also a member of the Pinelake Baptist Church College
Ministry team.
Tucker also spends valuable time in the community
with her involvement with Big Brothers & Big Sisters.
