NICO WALZ OF UNIVERSITY OF DALLAS, a freshman from Irving, Texas, has been selected the SCAC Men’s Track Athlete of the Week for meets held from Monday, March 8 through Sunday, March 14.
In the first collegiate meet of his career, Walz ran a 17:30.04 in the 5000 meters at the UT-Tyler Icebreaker Classic over the weekend. He placed 39th while competing aginast student-athletes across all NCAA Divisions as well as runners from NAIA and NJCAA.
