SCAC Women's Basketball Recap - Week 13

LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. - Trinity University clinched the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference women's basketball regular season title Saturday night in a dominating fashion.

The Tigers extended their winning streak to 10 games and moved to 13-1 in the SCAC this weekend, defeating Schreiner University twice.

The Tigers finish the regular season just one game ahead of Texas Lutheran University who earned the No. 2 seed and a first round bye.

Austin College follows the Bulldogs with a 10-4 record for the season, while Schreiner (8-6) comes in at No. 4.

Southwestern University and the University of Dallas follow in the fifth and sixth spots, respectively.

The tournament will begin Friday at noon with a No. 4/5 matchup between Southwestern and Schreiner.
