In a game of runs, it was Texas Lutheran who held on when counted most to earn the program its first trip to the title game since 2014 when the Bulldogs won the SCAC championship in its first season in the conference.

HOW IT HAPPENED
  • Austin College ended the third quarter on a 9-0 run and held a 45-41 lead heading into the fourth quarter.
  • Texas Lutheran then went on a 9-0 of its own to retake the lead at 49-45 with 7:15 remaining in the game.
