LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. -- After earning Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Player of the Week honors, Texas Lutheran University's Cierra Jordan was recognized again, earning a spot on the D3hoops.com Team of the Week.
Last weekend, Jordan scored a career-high 21 points in a win over Colorado College and then backed that performance up with a 19-point game in a road win over University of Dallas. Jordan averaged 20 points and shot 57.7 percent from the field and 55.6 percent from the three-point line.
In those two games, she also averaged eight rebounds, four steals, 1.5 blocks and 1.0 assists per game. She had six steals in the road win at Dallas, and she had 10 rebounds (part of a double-double) in the road win at Colorado College.
The Bulldogs are atop the conference standings with a 2-0 record in league play and a 10-3 record overall.
This weekend, TLU will host Schreiner University and No. 12 Trinity University in Seguin.
