Trinity Women's Basketball Jumps in the National Polls

LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. -- After a pair of dominating wins over the weekend, the Trinity University women's basketball team made moves in the latest set of national rankings.

The Tigers (18-1, 7-1 SCAC) moved up four spots in the D3hoops.com poll to No. 12, matching their highest rank of the season from week six. They also jumped three spots in the Women's Basketball Coaches' Association (WBCA) rankings, moving to No. 14.

Trinity posted a pair of lopsided wins over the weekend, averaging 89.5 points per game and outscoring their opponents by 83 points combined.

The Tigers host Southwestern University and Texas Lutheran University this weekend. The Bulldogs are the only team able to hand Trinity a defeat so far this season.
