MAITLIN RAYCROFT OF TEXAS LUTHERAN UNIVERSITY, a junior pitcher from Spring, Texas, has been named the SCAC Softball Co-Pitcher of the Week for games played through Sunday, April 16th. This is Raycroft's eighth Pitcher of the Week award this season and her seventh consecutive. She is joined by Austin College's Tori Herrera as Co-Pitchers of the Week.

Raycroft added to her NCAA Division III record for no-hitters in a single season by tossing her eighth Friday in a 7-0 road win against Trinity.

In the seven-inning no-hitter, Raycroft allowed just one base runner. She missed a perfect game with a walk in the seventh.

She came back Saturday and took a no-hitter into the sixth inning. For the week, she allowed just three hits, struck out 20 and finished with an ERA of 1.00. Opposing batters hit just .067 against her.

Other outstanding performances in the SCAC:
Senior pitcher Tori Herrera of Austin College threw her second career no-hitter in a victory over Brooklyn College, striking out 13 of the 16 batters she faced and throwing strikes on 50 of 57 pitches in a dominant win. Freshman pitcher Lindsey Longuet of Southwestern University helped the Pirates to three wins against Schreiner University, posting two complete game wins, and coming on in relief. Through the three appearances, Longuet totaled 14.0 innings, recording 16 strikeouts and allowing two earned runs.
