MAITLIN RAYCROFT OF TEXAS LUTHERAN UNIVERSITY, a junior pitcher from Spring, Texas, has been named the SCAC Softball Pitcher of the Week for games played through Sunday, March 26th. This is Raycroft's fifth Pitcher of the Week award this season and her fourth consecutive.

Raycroft set the NCAA Division III single-season record for no-hitters by tossing a perfect game on Tuesday against Mary Hardin-Baylor and by pitching the sixth no-hitter this Sunday at Austin College.

For the week, she allowed just one hit in 17 innings of work. She won three times and held opponents to a .019 batting average.

Raycroft struck out 38 and walked just two over the stretch, allowing the one hit in the Saturday game at Austin. She has thrown six no-hitters in her last nine starts.

Other outstanding performances in the SCAC:
Sophomore right-hander Nichole Aldridge of Centenary College improved her record to 7-6 with two saves this week, pitching 21.1 innings and allowing just one earned run, while striking out 18 and walking just one. Senior right-hander Katie Castillon of Trinity University posted a 2.06 ERA for the weekend, allowing just five earned runs in 17.0 innings and yielding just one walk.
