STARKVILLE, Miss. - The Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) placed five student athletes on the 2012 National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) Division III All-Region teams. Trinity University placed a league-high three players on the All-Region teams.
The SCAC was well represented as a league. Not only
did five student-athletes make the teams, but three of the
league's 10 softball teams had at least one student-athlete
selected. Birmingham-Southern College and Millsaps
College were each represented by a student-athlete to
join Trinity with honorees on the All-Region teams.
Trinity's Sydney Friday (West Region At-Large) was
the lone student-athlete named First-Team All-Region.
