SUWANEE, Ga. - Rhodes College senior pitcher Chelsea Peters was the lone Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference selection to the 2012 Capital One Academic All-District® team, as selected by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA).
Peters, a senior native of Oxford Miss., carries a 3.96 Grade Point Average (GPA) as an environmental science/chemistry major being named to the District V first-team.
As a first team selection, Peters will now advance to the Capital One Academic All-America® Team ballot, where first, second and third-team All-America honorees will be selected later this month.
