Trinity's Bellow, Colorado College's Calderon Highlight NCAA Men's Cross Country Regional Performances

Henry Bellow of Trinity finished ninth and Tony Calderon finished 14th at their respective NCAA Regional Saturday morning - both qualifying for next weekend's national championship meet.


MEMPHIS, Tenn. - The Trinity University men came in 11th, Austin College was 22nd and Southwestern University was 28th at the NCAA Division III South/Southeast Cross Country Regional on Saturday. Results

In a pack of 239 runners, senior Harry Bellow earned All-Region honors for the third consecutive year and an invite to next weekend's national championship meet with a ninth-place performance, turning in a time of 25:20.9 over the 8K course. The 2019 NCAA Division III Cross Country Championship which will be held November 23 in Louisville, Ky., and hosted by the Spalding University.

The Tigers finished with a score of 339 and tied with Covenant College for 10th place but lost the team tiebreaker to slip a slot in the final team standings.


CLAREMONT, Calif. - The Colorado College men's cross country team concluded its 2019 season Saturday with a fifth-place finish at the NCAA Division III West Regional Championships in Claremont, California. Results

Senior Tony Calderon, the reigning SCAC Runner-of-the-Year, earned an All-Region nod and a trip to the NCAA championship meet next weekend by finishing in 14th place with a time of 25:48.2. 

Senior teammate Jack Williams finished in 24th (26:18.3) to join Calderon on the All-Region team.
