LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. - Five of the league's seven Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference men's cross country teams were in action this past week.
Austin College and the University of Dallas competed at the East Texas Baptist University Invitational, with the Crusaders finishing eighth in the 13 team field.
At the Southwest Texas Junior College Invitational, Texas Lutheran University took the team title, putting up a perfect score of 15.
Trinity University finished 21st in a field of 46 teams at the Chile Pepper XC Festival hosted by the University of Arkansas. The Non-Division I field was made up of teams from NCAA Division II, III and NAIA.
Colorado College finished in fifth place at the Metro State Invitational, behind mostly NCAA Division II competition.
