SUWANEE, Ga. - Seeking its fifth consecutive Southern
Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) President's Trophy,
DePauw University increased its lead from 40 to 60 points following
the completion of the 2009-2010 winter sports season.
DePauw picked up conference championships in the sports
of men's swimming and diving and women's basketball
to take a 60-point lead (540-480) over second-place Centre
College.
In other recently completed winter sports events, Centre won the
men's basketball title and Trinity University, who is in third
place in the President's Trophy race with 452.5 points, won the
women's swimming and diving championship.
