CHRISTINA
BYLER OF HENDRIX COLLEGE a sophomore forward from
Little Rock, Ark., has been named SCAC Basketball
Player-of-the-Week for games played Monday, February 9th through
Sunday, February 15th.
Byler averaged 29.5 points and 11.5 rebounds over
the weekend and carried the Warriors into the postseason with a
standout performance against Trinity on Saturday.
Byler posted her sixth double-double of the year
against Southwestern with 27 points and 12 rebounds. She was
10-of-22 from the fiend and 4-of-7 from behind the arc on
Friday.
Byler was just one point shy of her career-high
with 32 points against Trinity on Saturday. She was 10-of-21 from
the field and 5-of-6 from long range, including a perfect 7-of-7
from the charity stripe and pulled down a team-best nine rebounds
on the night.
