CHELSEA GOODMAN OF CENTRE COLLEGE, a junior guard from Harrodsburg, Ky., has been named SCAC Basketball Player-of-the-Week for games played Monday, January 19th through Sunday, January 25th.

Goodman averaged 22.5 points, 7 rebounds, 4.5 steals and 4 assists helping the Centre women’s basketball team go 2-0 in SCAC play this past week.

In Centre’s 56-42 win over Hendrix Goodman scored a game-high 18 points and pulled down a game-high 9 rebounds, while also recording 5 steals.

Two days later in a 80-57 win over Millsaps, Goodman scored a game-high 27 points while also recording 5 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 steals. For the weekend Goodman was 17 for 30 (56.65) from the field and 6 of 11 (54.5%) from behind the three-point arc.
