TINA GRACE OF
OGLETHORPE UNIVERSITY, a senior forward from
Pensacola, Fla., has been named SCAC Basketball Player-of-the-Week
for games played Monday, December 15th thru Sunday, December
21st.
Grace led the Petrels to their fourth consecutive
win, and a 2-0 weekend as Oglethorpe hosted the Stormy Petrel
Holiday Classic. For the Tournament Grace averaged
17 points, 5 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 3 steals in wins over St.
Norberts (Wis.) College and Transylvania (Ky.) University.
On the season, Grace stands in the top ten in the
conference in a number of statistical categories including points
(10th), assists (10th) and steals (2nd) per contest. The Petrels
will return to action after the New Year when they travel to Rhodes
on January 2nd.
