SIMON URIBE OF TRINITY UNIVERSITY, a senior midfielder from Cali, Colombia, has been selected as the SCAC Men's Soccer Co-Defensive Players-of-the-Week for matches played from Monday, October 27th through Sunday, November 2nd.
Uribe led the Tigers' defense which allowed just seven shots on goal between the two matches.
Uribe also scored the game-winning goal in the conference finale against Southwestern University Friday night, drilling a solo shot in the 20th minute.
Uribe has played and started in 19 games this season, helping the Tigers to a win in all but one of those matches. The Trinity defense has now posted 12 shutouts.

Senior
goalkeeper Andrew Celio of Austin
College helped the 'Roos finish the
season with a 1-1 draw against the University of
Dallas. In the game, Celio marked six
saves. Centenary, Colorado
College, Dallas, Schreiner,
and Southwestern did
not nominate anyone.
