Senior defender Andrew Worthington of Colorado College played all 180 minutes to anchor the Colorado College defense that recorded its fifth and sixth shutouts of the season. Sophomore defender Curran Daniel of Southwestern was the pillar on the back line for the Pirates. He made several timely crucial tackles to thwart some dangerous Bulldog attacks on Friday, and his play in the air helped preserve the shut-out on Sunday. Freshman defender Dylan Blumberg of Trinity led Trinity's back line in a shutout win in its only game of the past week, blanking Schreiner 7-0 on Friday night.
