ALAN LLOBET OF TRINITY UNIVERSITY, a senior defender from Missouri, Texas have been selected as the SCAC Co-Men's Soccer Defensive Player-of-the-Week for matches played from Monday, October 26 through Sunday, November 1.
Llobet and the Trinity defense recorded a pair of shutout victories on the road last weekend, clinching the team’s eighth consecutive SCAC Championship.
Llobet led a defense that posted its 10th and 11th shutouts of the season, yielding just five total shots in the two games. Llobet also scored a goal in Friday’s win over Oglethorpe, turning a 1-0 second-half lead into a 2-0 advantage for the Tigers.
For the season, Llobet is tied for third on the team with four goals scored this season, two of which have been game-winning goals.
