BEAU SORG OF
DEPAUW UNIVERSITY, a senior defender from Fort
Wayne, Ind., has been selected as the SCAC Men's Soccer Defensive
Player-of-the-Week for matches played from Monday, September 28
through Sunday, October 4.
Beau led the Tiger back line to a pair of 1-0
SCAC shutouts over the weekend. On Friday, Beau
and the Tigers allowed just three shots against the Tigers of
Colorado College, before posting yet another shutout victory
against Austin College on Sunday.
Beau also chipped in on the offensive side of
the ball with the game winning goal against Austin College; his
third game-winner on the year.
Beau has helped anchor a backline that has five
team shutouts on the year second in the conference and is only
giving up .64 goals per contest also good for second in the SCAC.
