CH FARMER OF
TRINITY UNIVERSITY, a sophomore defensive
midfielder from Dallas, Texas, has been selected as the SCAC Men's
Soccer Defensive Player-of-the-Week for matches played from Monday,
October 12 through Sunday, October 18.
After three straight double-overtime games in which the defense
allowed three goals, Farmer led the defense in
giving up zero goals over 180 minutes of action over the weekend,
earning wins over both Centre and DePauw.
Farmer and the Tiger defense yielded just four
total shots in the two games, earning 1-0 wins over both Centre and
DePauw. Farmer led the defense in allowing just
one shot in Friday’s game, then gave up just three
second-half shots against DePauw on Sunday.
For the season, Farmer and the Tiger defense have
recorded nine shutouts in 13 games.
