CHRIS GROVER OF SEWANEE: UNIVERSITY OF THE SOUTH, a freshman goalkeeper from Collierville, Tenn., has been selected as the SCAC Men's Soccer Defensive Player-of-the-Week for matches played from Monday, September 21 through Sunday, September 27.

Grover earned the win in goal for Sewanee's double overtime win over DePauw Friday night and then came in at halftime on Sunday to hold Centre scoreless in the second half and get the 2-1 win.

On the weekend, Grover recorded 14 saves in just over 152 minutes of play against the DU Tigers and Colonels. The Purple Tigers are 2-0 so far in the SCAC.
