COLE THOMPSON
OF CENTENARY COLLEGE, a senior right-hander from
Plano, Texas has been selected the SCAC Baseball
Pitcher-of-the-Week for games played from Monday, April 8 through
Sunday, April 14.
In his final conference game at Shehee Stadium,
Thompson garnered his fifth win of the season
while fanning nine in the nine-inning decision.
Thompson fanned a batter in each inning, including
striking out the final batter of the weekend with three straight
strikes. The complete-game marked his fifth on the campaign as the
lone run, surrendered on six hits, was unearned.
