TAYLOR HENRY
OF CENTENARY COLLEGE, a sophomore left-hander from
Bossier City, La., has been selected the SCAC Baseball
Pitcher-of-the-Week for games played from Monday, March 4 through
Sunday, March 10.
Henry recorded his third win of the season with a
complete game victory on Saturday. He surrendered just one run in
eight innings of work on five hits.
The Gents pitching staff held the top hitting team in the
conference to a .278 average at the dish holding the Tigers to just
nine runs on the weekend, including just one run in the nightcap on
Saturday anchored by Henry’s complete-game
performance.
