SCHIERHORN OF THE UNIVERSITY OF DALLAS, a senior
left-hander from Anchorage, Alaska has been selected the SCAC
Baseball Pitcher-of-the-Week for games played from Monday, February
4 through Sunday, February 10.
In two starts during the week, Schierhorn totaled
12 innings while scattering 11 hits and yielded zero earned runs
while striking out five.
Schierhorn suffered a no-decision in
Dallas’ 4-3 loss to Howard Payne on Tuesday where he threw
six innings and struck out two.
Schierhorn picked up the win in a 15-3 win over Sul Ross State when he threw six innings and struck out three while scattering six hits and one walk.
