MILES NORDGREN
OF BIRMINGHAM-SOUTHERN COLLEGE, a sophomore
right-hander from Gadsden, Ala., has been selected the SCAC
Baseball Pitcher-of-the-Week for games played from Monday, April 9
through Sunday, April 15.
Nordgren made two appearances this week and
picked up two wins, throwing 6.2 innings and recording seven
strikeouts. He gave up only two hits and did not allow a single run
while allowing a .091 opponent batting average.
Against LaGrange on April 10th , Nordgren
threw three innings and struck out three while scattering two hits
to earn the win. Against Oglethorpe on April 14th, he threw 3.2
innings and struck out four in an 8-5 win.
