JACKSON BAKER
OF RHODES COLLEGE, a junior right-hander from
Houston, Texas, has been selected the SCAC Baseball
Pitcher-of-the-Week for games played from Monday, April 2 through
Sunday, April 8.
Baker threw a seven inning complete game in a 2-1
victory over Oglethorpe on Friday.
Baker held Oglethorpe scoreless for the final
six innings and retried nine straight to finish the game en route
to his fourth complete game of the season.
Baker scattered four hits and struck out six in his seven innings of work. On the year, Baker is 5-4 with a 3.00 ERA.
